biography on Steve Jobs
Steven Paul Jobs was born on 24 February 1955 in San Francisco, California, Abdulfattah Jandali and Joanne Schieble who were unmarried at the time he was born and they gave him up for adoption. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, and was raised with them in Mountain View, California. Steve went Homestead High School in Cupertino California and went to Reed College in Portland Oregon in 1972 he then dropped out after one semester. He got a job with the video game manufacturer Atari to get enough money for a trip to India.
Back in Cupertino he came back to Atari where his old friend Steve Wozniak was working. Wozniak was building his own computer and in 1976 Jobs sold 50 of the computers to a local store and managed to buy the components on credit enabling them to build the Apple I without any cost at all.The Apple II came after in 1977 and the company Apple Computer was formed afterwards the Apple ll. The Apple II was credited with starting the personal computer. By the time production of the Apple II ended in 1993 it had sold over 6 million products.
in 1985 Jobs was fired from Apple and then founded another computer company called NeXT. Its machines were not a success but some of the technology was used by Apple when Jobs returned there. later in 1986, Jobs bought the Computer Graphics Group at Lucasfilm. The group he bought was responsible for making high computer graphics hardware but its new name, Pixar, it started to make computer animations. in 1991 Pixar signed a contract with Disney, with who they already had a relationship with. In 1996 Apple bought NeXT and Jobs returned to Apple again then becoming its CEO. Jobs brought his own philosophy back to the ailing company and began to turn its make money with the release of the iMac in 1998. iTunes was made into an online music and also made movie and software application stores, helping to enforce the idea of "legally" downloading entertainment. In 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and underwent surgery in 2004. Despite the success of this operation he became increasingly ill and received a liver transplant in 2009. He returned to work after a six month break but eventually resigned his position in August 2011 after another period of medical leave which began in January 2011. He died on 5 October 2011.

biography on Steve Wozniak
Stephen Wozniak was raised in suburban Santa Clara Valley, California.His father was an engineer for Lockheed and his mother the was president of a Republican women's club. Wozniak was into electronics. He made homemade variety of devices such as a radio, calculators, and games. He was very smart, but school was boring to him. He attended the University of Colorado and flunked out.Wozniak went back to school at the University of California in 1971, but dropped out of that school and went to Hewlett-Packard. Back at home he met Steve Jobs through a friend.In 1976 Wozniak couldn't afford to buy an Altair. So that caused him to build his own computer, using a cheaper microprocessor and adding several memory chips.He and Jobs called it Apple I, and Jobs took on the task of marketing it while Wozniak continued to make it better. in 1977, Wozniak had built Apple II and quit his job. Wozniak and Jobs made Apple Computer, Inc. When it went public in 1980, its stock value was $117 million; but then three years later it was $985 million. In 1981 a plane crashed on the runway. He had suffered many injuries and amnesia, and he recovered within 2 years. He returned to Apple in 1983, but he then retired in 1985 after he and Jobs received the National Technology Award from President Reagan. He started other businesses and he was helping to protect the First Amendment rights in the computer field. He then moved to Los Gatos, California with his wife and children. After retiring he got his bachelor's degree in computer science and electrical engineering.
